As long as the Debit card has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it, our system will process it as a 'Credit Card'. The numbers on the card let the processing bank know it's a debit card so that the merchant (you) can benefit from the debit card rate. Our system utilizes "offline debit", which means that your customers are not required to enter their debit PIN code.
The card issuing bank ultimately has control over how the transaction posts to the customer's account. The benefits and perks vary by bank. We do not have control over how the card-issuing bank treats the transaction, therefore it may post as a debit or credit transaction on the customer's account.
