Updates: How to clear browsing history and cache

Last updated on 14 Sept, 2025

Why do I need to clear my cache?
In order for your internet to be more efficient and run faster, you will need to clear the cache from your browsers. Most often, updates are run on the files that can comprise your sites in order to make changes or add new features. If changes are made to a file that your browser has cached, it’s going to keep serving the old, cached version of the file and you will not see any changes. That’s why it is important to clear your browsing history and cache to ensure CashPractice.com, and all other websites as well, operate to their full potential.

What Browser am I using?

For Chrome: Preferred Browser

1. At the top right of the screen, click on the three dots in a horizontal line and select [Delete browsing data].

2. Select the time range to be "All Time".

3. Select the types of information you want to remove.

4. Click [Clear data] in the bottom right corner.

For Firefox:

1. Click the menu button (in the right-hand corner of your browser) and choose [Options].

2. Select the Advanced button.

3. Click on the [Network] tab.

4. In the "Cached Web Content" section, click [Clear Now].

5. Click [OK] at the bottom when finished.

For Microsoft Edge: ChiroTouch users especially

1. Click on the three dots in a horizontal line (in the right-hand corner of your browser) and select [History].

2. Select the three dots in a horizontal line in this section only and choose [Clear Browsing Data]

3. Make sure you select all toggle boxes that need to be cleared. Make sure "All Time" is chosen.

4. Finally, hit [Clear Now] at the bottom.

Overall, we recommend using Google Chrome for speed and reliability.
