In an effort to be as transparent as possible, we are providing the network fees charged directly by the card brands: VISA and MasterCard.
These are fixed fees and apply to ALL merchant processing companies. No merchant processor can give you a "lower rate" or "better deal" on these. They are also non-negotiable.
VISA Network Fees:
Assessment Fee - 0.10% on volume
Processing Integrity Fee - $0.0565 per transaction
Commercial Solutions Fee (applies to all VISA Business Solutions products) - 0.0113% on volume
CVV2 Pricing for Card Not Present Transactions (assessed on a per-transaction basis when the CVV2 yields a match or no match result) - $0.002825 per Match/No Match result
International Cross-Border (applies to any transaction where the country codes of the merchant and the cardholder differ) - 0.45% on volume
MasterCard Network Fees:
Assessment Fee - 0.10% on volume
MOTO Fee - 0.01695% per transaction
Digital Enablement - 0.02% on volume
Processing Integrity Fee - 0.3955% (minimum amount of $0.0565 per transaction)
Excessive Authorization Attempts (Mastercard has a threshold of 35 declined attempts on the same Merchant Account Number, at the same card acceptor, and for the same amount within a 30-day period) - $0.57 per attempt
International Cross-Border (applies to any transaction where the country codes of the merchant and the cardholder differ) - 0.40% on volume
