Grade: What is The Wellness Score® System [WSS] Grading Scale?

Last updated on 06 Feb, 2026

The Wellness Score® System works exactly like a school report card. To get your Overall Wellness Score, we take the average of your grades in several different "subjects" (Categories).

How Your Grades are Calculated:

Each category's grade is determined by the specific tests (biomarkers) you take.

Depending on the category, your grade might come from one test or many:

The Single-Test Subject: Think of the Functional Fitness Assessment like a History class where your entire grade comes from one big exam (Core Flexibility). Because there is only one test, that score is your grade for the whole category.

Pro Tip: If you want a more accurate grade for a category like Functional Fitness, you can add more tests to that category so one single score doesn't carry all the weight!

The Multi-Test Subject: Think of Neuro Spinal Health like a Math class where your grade is an average of three tests (Anterior Head Syndrome, Core Flexibility, and COREscore).

The "Double-Credit" Test: In some cases, a single test is so important that it counts toward two different classes at once. Imagine taking one Essay Exam that counts as a grade for both your English class and your History class.

  • The Impact: If you do great on that one test, your grade goes up in both categories at the same time.

  • The Risk: Because this one test affects multiple categories, it has a bigger impact on your Overall Wellness Score than a test that only appears once.

In this Wellness Score Report, the Core Flexibility Biomarker is in both categories, so the weight of it's score will impact the overall score more heavily than biomarkers in other categories.
