Legal: What are the California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners requirements?

Last updated on 12 Sept, 2025

The California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners requires any care plan that accepts payments in advance (prepay) to be submitted for review by the California Department of Managed Care to determine if licensure is required. Failure to do so is a violation of your chiropractic license and leaves you vulnerable to disciplinary action for unprofessional conduct.

Please see the [Legal] link at the bottom of any page in Cash Practice® for details on legalities.
